About The Practice
Colin Jessey and Sharon Davis formed the practice in 2005.
Colin Jessey
Colin has been in the architectural design and surveying profession for
some thirty years and has a wealth of experience in new build, change
of use, refurbishments, loft conversions, extensions, Listed &
Historic Building renovations, and building design in conservation
areas.
Colin qualified with a ‘Diploma in Design’ (Dip AD) and is a full
member of the ‘Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists’
(MCIAT). The practice is registered with the Institute, which
recognises that a member has demonstrated competence as a specialist in
building design and construction, and can undertake a building project
from inception to completion.
Sharon Davis
Sharon prepares all the drawings on CAD and undertakes the general administration of the business.
When required, we consult and liaise with specialists; including Planning Consultants, Structural Engineers, Thermal Consultants, Chartered Surveyors, and Quantity Surveyors. We also work closely with Local Authorities in order to ensure efficiency and to keep abreast of local planning policies and legislation.
Following submission of every Planning Application, we liaise with the local Planning Officer and pursue each Planning Application until receipt of a favourable Planning Consent.
